Anambra State Government has suspended the Transition Committee Chairman of Nnewi North Local Government Area honourable Mbazulike Iloka over the circumstances that led to the death of his wife, Mrs Chidiebere Iloka.

Mr Iloka was among the 21 TC Chairmen sworn in by the Governor Last week, according to our source, Mrs Iloka died few days after her husband was sworn in as TC Chairman.

Following allegations by the public, It is suspected the deceased died out of domestic violence.

In a swift response, in a letter signed by the Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs, Mr Nawabunwanne, the State Government had Suspended Mr Iloka from Office.
