The Public Relations Officer of Lagos State Police Command has announced the arrest of one Nwaneri Anthony parading himself as a naval officer.

The arrest was made following an alert by residents of the State. The PPRO tweeted “Today at about 1800hrs, officers of Isolo Division arrested a fake Naval officer, Anthony Nwaneri, at the Cele area of Lagos State following information received from members of the public. Investigation is ongoing.”

Going further, he thanked Lagos residents for always alerting the Police when unusual things are noticed

“Lagosians are hereby appreciated for alerting security agencies whenever suspicious persons and happenings are noticed”
