Nigeria has lost another prominent traditional ruler.
His Royal Highness, Dr Muhammadu Kabir Maikarfi III, Maigari of Lokoja in Kogi state, died in Abuja after a brief illness.
The deceased was one of the longest-serving traditional rulers, having ascended the throne in 1992.
