The head of West African Examination Council, WAEC, at the national office, Patrick Areghan has on Thursday, September 15 disclosed that students whose results were withheld by the examination body was as a result of involvement in examination malpractice.
He made this revelation in reaction to the claims that the examination council deliberately withheld the results of candidates of some states in the country.
He described the false claim as malicious, misleading, calculated attempt to drag the council to the mud, and utter ignorance.
However, Areghan has promised to personally conduct investigations so that students involved in the malpractice will be punished accordingly, while the innocent ones will be served justice.
