The former governor of Kano State and the Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPC), Rabiu Kwakwanso, arrived Kogi on Wednesday, August 31 to inaugurate the party’s secretariat and campaign offices.

However, it was gathered that certain hoodlums who are yet to be identified stormed the venue and embarrassed him by throwing sachet water at him.But for the intervention of the security agents at the hotel where this happened, the situation would have gotten out of hand.

Meanwhile, this was not the first time the ex-governor was embarrassed like this. Something similar happened sometime ago when he visited Ogbonicha. He was accused of using Abubakar Audu’s influence to lure APC supporters into NNPP.
