The All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) has taken to their official Instagram handle to announce the release of the list of nominees for the 2022 edition of the award show.

As expected, a number of Nigerian Artistes have made the list.

Burna Boy got nominated in “Best Male Artiste in the Western Africa category”, “Album of the year”, “Artiste of the year” and “Song of the year”.

Fireboy is nominated for “Best Male Artiste in the Western Africa category”, “Song of the year”, “Artiste of the year”, “Producer of the year” and “Best African collaboration”.

Davido is a nominee for “Best African collaboration”, “Best Artiste, Duo or Group in African electro”, “Best Artiste, Duo or Group in African pop”, and “Best Male Artiste in African Inspirational music”.

Kizz Daniel is also in the list for “Best Male Artiste in the Western Africa category”, “Song of the year”, “Artiste of the year” and “Best African collaboration”

Tiwa Savage is nominated for “Best Female Artiste in the Western Africa category”, “Artiste of the year”, “Best African collaboration”, and “Best Artiste”.

Other Nigerian stars like Ckay, Tems, Wizkid, Pheelz, Simi and Rema are also in the list of nominees.
