The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, seized the largest singular cocaine drug in its history on Monday, September 19.
This happened after scattering a major warehouse in a quiet estate at Ikorodu, Lagos.
The NDLEA seized 1.8 tons (1,855 kilograms) of cocaine which is worth more than $278,250,000, and equivalent to N194,775,000,000.
The agency arrested four drug barons, including a Jamaican, as well as the manager of the warehouse, and has revealed that there are members of one of the international drug groups that has been on its tracklist since 2018.Credit:
