Flourish Victor, a lady whose mother was tied and flogged by the community members, has taken to her social media handle to express how heartbroken she is regarding the incident.Recall that few days back, a widow was tied and flogged for two days by the community members at Umueghu Amaegbuato Autonomous community in Nkpa, in Bende L.G.A. Abia State.

Flourish, in her Facebook post, said that she feels heartbroken and disappointed that her mother was humiliated because of a false accusation that her mother is a witch, laid by her uncle’s wife.

She also said she barely could recognize her mom, because of the level of injury inflicted on her when she came to visit her on hearing the news.She however, acknowledged the efforts of the Human Right Activist, Harrison Gwamnishu as well as the wife of the state Governor towards remedying the situation.She concluded by saying she is pained and really wants revenge.
