The Vice Chancellor of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, Prof. Maduebibisi Ofo Iwe has declared that the university will embark on a massive infrastructural development of the school’s permanent site, at Isiala Oboro in Ikwuano L.G.A Abia State.

According to his statement on August 31, Prof. Iwe noted that the new projects were in line with the university’s vision of expansion, as a way of increasing her production.The VC made the declaration while leading a prayer session to mark the commencement of the construction of new building projects, including the University’s senate building.

The VC in the company of some management staff of the university also led prayers at the University’s Centre for Molecular Bio Sciences and Biotechnology (CMBB) to mark the commencement of the construction of its new complex.In the course of this, he also hinted that the building would house more state-of-the-art equipment that would drive innovation and research in the university if completed.
