Prince Charles becomes King after the Queen’s passing.

Charles, Prince of Wales and the heir apparent to the British throne as the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II, becomes King after the passing of his mother today, September 8, 2022.

According to the release on the official Twitter handle of The Royal Family Channel, Prince Charles becomes King with the Queen’s passing and the country enters a 12 day period of national mourning.
