The Court of Appeal on Friday upheld the Federal Government of Nigeria’s application for stay of execution of the 13th October judgment which acquitted Nnamdi Kanu.
The presiding judge, Justice Haruna Tsanammi also ordered that the Court should forward the result ruling to the Supreme Court within seven days for expeditious hearing.
The ruling means that O Kanu will remain in the custody of the Department of State Services till the Supreme Court hears the case.
