Imo Gets Fourth Speaker in Three Years as Ibeh is Removed

The Imo State House of Assembly has removed its 3rd speaker in three years, Rt. Hon. Kennedy Ibeh, Honourable Member representing Obowo State house consistency.

Recall, Since after the 2019 Election Which Ushered in the Ihedioha Emeka Administration and Subsequently Hope Uzodimma Administration following the Sacking of the former by the Supreme Court, Imo has had Chiji Collins, Paul Emeziem and now the removed Kennedy Ibeh as Speakers.

There is however, a newly appointed speaker, in the person of Hon. Prince Emeka Nduka, representative of Ehime-Mbano constituency.

Hon. Nduka was chosen unanimously by majority of the house, led by the Deputy Speaker and Governor’s confidant, Rt. Hon. Amara Iwuanyanwu, representing Nwangele State constituency.
