The Governor of Ondo State, H.E. Rotimi Akeredolu, has lost his mom at the age of 90.

The deceased mother of the governor, Lady Evangelist Grace Bosede Akeredolu, died peacefully in her sleep in the morning, on Thursday, September 15.

The governor who made the announcement himself in a statement he released on behalf of him and his siblings, described his mom as an adorable, dutiful and ever doting mother.

“Though saddened and by the departure of Maami, the one Abiyamo we knew, we are consoled with the knowledge that, even as she transits to eternity, she will be guided by the strong hands of the angels of the light in which she dwelt during her eventful and fruitful sojourn on the terrestrial plane,” he said.
