The Students Of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, Imo State have called out Popular Socialite and Businessman, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chiefpriest to come fulfill his promise.
According to reports, Chiefpriest visited the institution on March 1, 2022 to award two vehicles worth N18.5m each to two students.
The event which took place at a popular event center in the outskirts of Owerri, Imo state, known as Herosquare was personally attended by Chiefpriest.
He however volunteered to do more for the school, as he promised to pay the school fees of the best students.
After inquiring about the amount paid as school fees, he requested for a compiled list of the best students from the 48 departments in the school.
A FEDPONEK student who spoke with Satellite News noted that although the Students Union had expected him to extend his kind gesture to either the Union or its President, they were rather happy when he came up with the scholarship award.
He however expressed his sadness over the non-fulfillment of the promise which he made almost eight months ago.
The students have therefore called on him to come and fulfill the promise he made to them.
