The Student Union Government of Alvan Ikoku College of Education Owerri has suspended its President on the grounds of misconduct and Abuse of office.

These include the misappropriation of funds by seeking for finance from the Union’s account without due process, attending convention meant for the Union alone, cross-carpeting the Secretary General, relegating the office of the Director of Information and denying her delegation to NANS convention and conference, embezzlement of funds, acting on selfish interest and giving deaf ears when confronted about his attitude, lies, mischievousness, deceit and authoritarianism.

All these and more charged the Executive Council to pass A VOTE OF CONFIDENCE according to the constitution of the SUG. This was signed by the Secretary General, the Vice President, Assistant Secretary General, Director of Information, Director of Finance, Director of Transport, Director of Health, Director of Sports and the Director of Socials.

The Student Representative Council (SRC) found him guilty after looking into the matter, which led to his suspension.
