The Abia State University Uturu has pulled out of the ongoing National ASUU Strike. In a memo signed and released by the Registra on behalf of the Vice Chancellor and University Governing Council, students are directed to resume academic activities for the continuation of the First semester 2021/2022 academic session on Monday 29th August 2022.

The Public Relations Officer of the Students’ Union Government, Comr Chinedu Fortune who spoke to our correspondent confirmed the development and advised that Students should immediately return to Campus.

Recall, ABSU has been part of the Ongoing Strike of the Academic Staff Union Of Universities which started 14th February 2022.
